Ensembles

Jazz Band

The Jazz Band performs at various local community concerts and school functions as well as the Winter and Spring Concerts. Jazz Band is open to advanced 7th and 8th grade band students based on auditions only.

Concert Band

Open to 7th and 8th grade band students at an intermediate level of development based on auditions. The Concert Band performs on the Winter and Spring Concerts.

Symphonic Band

Open to 7th and 8th grade band students at an advanced level of development based on auditions. The Symphonic Band performs at the FBA Music Performance Assessment and at the Winter and Spring Concerts.

Beginning Band

Open to all 6th grade students; previous musical training is helpful, but not necessary. Students start by learning how to read music and then learn how to play their instrument. The Beginning Band performs on the Winter/Spring Concerts.
